Matt Hoy

Matt holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University and has practiced on the Mid North Coast since 2003. He commenced the partnership operating Hoys Physiotherapy in 2006 and enjoys operating a small business in Coffs Harbour.

Matt has related qualifications including a Spinal Manual Therapy Certificate, is a qualified core stability instructor, and completed additional training in assessment and treatment of the back, hip and pelvis.

In 2014 Matt became qualified to practice dry needling, using the Integrated Dry Needling technique. Integrated Dry Needling is a unique dry needling approach providing practitioners who treat pain and movement an innovative system of dry needling to stimulate change in the neural, fascial and muscular systems to rapidly resolve movement dysfunctions and optimise movement patterns, addressing mechanical musculoskeletal pain problems and sporting injuries.

Matt enjoys raising a family on the Coffs Coast and after retiring from Rugby enjoys surfing, fishing, golf and tries to stay fit cycling.
