HoysFIT is the exercise and recreation division of Hoys Allied Health & Wellness. The HoysFIT location is a purposely built gym and clinic that aims to work with individuals of all shapes, sizes, and abilities to support physical strength, fitness, and ability.
Exercise Classes
Active
Designed for individuals with a basic fitness level, looking for an Active type of workout.
Core Equipment
Sessions focused on core muscle activation and strengthening through the use of specialised core equipment (reformer and trapeze table). The versatility of the equipment enables beginners through to advanced attendants to participate, helpful for people who have trouble getting on and off the floor.
Core Mat - Beginner
A way of exercising using low impact flexibility and endurance movements to develop muscular strength. Balance, core strength and better postural alignment. Fundamentals of Pilates gradually increasing the intensity of your workout. Excellent in treating lower back pain and tightness of muscles.
Core Mat - Intermediate
A class designed to create a stronger core, lean long muscles and strong backs. Power stretching and core cardio moves are incorporated to leave your body feeling strong and revitalised and your muscles relaxed. Equipment such as the band, ring and ball are used in this class.
Hydrotherapy
Aquatic Physiotherapy is a specifically designed exercise program conducted in a heated swimming pool which provides a supported non-weight bearing exercise environment. Hydrotherapy classes can be booked as an individual 1:1 session, supervised 1:4 session.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a low-impact, gentle form of exercise that can benefit individuals of all ages and fitness levels.
Tai Chi can:

- Reduced Stress & anxiety
- Increased flexibility and range of motion
Young Athletes
Designed specifically for young athletes looking to enhance their training and sport performance.

We are a GYM with a difference.
HoysFIT is the exercise and recreation division of Hoys Allied Health & Wellness. The HoysFIT location is a purposely built gym and clinic that aims to work with individuals of all shapes, sizes, and abilities to support physical strength, fitness, and ability.
The gym is run by tertiary qualified Exercise Physiologists. Our team prides itself on bringing a personal touch to every encounter.

We offer one on one training/coaching and group exercise classes with our tertiary qualified Exercise Physiologists. The Hoys Exercise Physiology team is here to support your physical performance goals – no matter how big or how small.
What we offer:
1:1 Coaching/Training - We can prescribe the perfect program for you!
Group Exercise Classes -18+ classes running a week, We know it’s more fun when you exercise together! HoysFIT group exercise is a 60 minute strength & conditioning class designed for everyone. Every exercise is adapted to the individuals needs and capability - we even cater for injury recovery in these sessions!
Strength and Conditioning - Getting you stronger safely! Individual and small group sessions available.
Chronic Disease Management – Working alongside a plan that is being managed by your GP
Corporate Health and Wellness & Employee Wellness Programs - Similar to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) but with a focus on physical health and wellbeing.
Pre-employment Assessments - A pre-employment physical assessment is an objective functional assessment of a person's ability to perform the essential physical demands of a job (as per supplied position descriptions/duties statements) and is widely recognised as an important part of injury prevention.
Injury Management and Exercise Rehabilitation - At Hoys, we understand the frustration involved with recovering from an injury, and the process of effective rehabilitation. Together with your medical advisors and/or your physiotherapist, we will create a program and plan that is designed specifically to get you moving and on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.
WorkCover & Exercise Physiology - Exercise Physiology offers a seamless progression from Physiotherapy treatment (hands on treatment) to activity based / functional exercises for WorkCover and CTP patients, this allows upgrades in work tolerances and safe and durable return to pre-injury duties and function.
NDIS Exercise Care - When it comes to NDIS support, we understand that everyone’s needs, preferences and physical aspirations are different. At Hoys, we provide a flexible, whole-of-life approach to the support needed to pursue individual goals and improve participation in daily life.
DVA & Exercise - DVA Exercise Physiology services address and manage chronic disease and provide rehabilitation for veterans recovering from injury or illness.
