Larissa Davidson

Larissa studied a Bachelor of Health Science(Rehabilitation Counselling) at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2007.She completed a postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management in 2019. Larissa has also completed further education at Certificate IV level in Leadership and Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Training and Assessment. Larissa has undertaken further studies in mediation and dispute resolution.

Larissa has over 15 years’ experience in workplace rehabilitation, case management, and disability. She is an accredited Supported Wage Assessor and National Panel Assessor with JobAccess Commonwealth Department of Social Services. Larissa has worked in the private injury prevention and management sector with both national and regional providers.

Larissa has extensive experience in the workplace rehabilitation sector. She has highly developed skills in initial rehabilitation assessments, vocational assessments and workplace assessments(JobAccess).  As a Rehabilitation Counsellor, Larissa specialises in return-to-work same employer services for psychological injuries. Her experience in leadership and management, and human resources gives her an added level of understanding of return-to-work planning and support for psychological injuries. Larissa has extensive knowledge of her local labour market based on 15+ years of conducting labour market analysis and networking with the Coffs Harbour business community. Larissa is accredited under WorkCover NSW, CTP NSW, Lifetime Care and Support, and Comcare. Larissa has been a Full Member of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) since 2007.

Larissa has undertaken a number of community roles including her current role as President with the Coffs Coast Safety Network, and previous role as Chapter President for Business Networking International(BNI).

In addition to her clinical experience, Larissa has worked as a Regional Manager, Area Manager and General Manager within the rehabilitation and allied health sectors. She is currently the General Manager of Hoys incorporating Hoys Allied Health, and Hoys Work Health.

In her free time Larissa finds joy in the simple things in life including spending time with family and friends, camping, good food, and river swims.
