Ellissa
Occupational Therapist
Ellissa graduated from Southern Cross University at the Coffs Harbour Campus with a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2022.
She gained experience in aged care, acute rehab, and paediatric settings through her placements and casual roles as an Allied Health Assistant held during her studies. Ellissa is currently working with adult caseloads within the NDIS and aged care space, conducting functional capacity assessments, minor home modification assessments and assistive technology assessments. Ellissa is passionate about helping these individuals gain or regain the ability to complete everyday occupations that are meaningful to them.
Ellissa completed her secondary and tertiary education in the Coffs Harbour area and enjoys walking the local headlands and beaches, socialising with friends over coffee or a meal out, and spending time with family and her dog, Murphy.

What sports did you participate in growing up? I spent most afternoons dancing (mainly Ballet) at the local dance studio throughout primary and secondary school..
What was your first job? I worked in a pharmacy as a pharmacy assistant/ dispensary technician during a gap year after high school and throughout my degree at university.
Finish the sentence. On Sunday mornings you can usually find me? Sleeping in, morning coffee followed by a beach or headland walk.
